Tailgate
Terms of Service
Oldman AI Solutions Inc. · Last updated 2026-09-23
These terms are the agreement between Oldman AI Solutions Inc. ("we") and the company that uses Tailgate ("you"). By signing up for Tailgate or using it, you agree to them on behalf of your company.
The service
Tailgate is software for running field work: work orders, the crew's daily records, quotes, invoices, and optional connections such as QuickBooks Online. We provide it over the internet and improve it over time.
Your account and your people
You decide who in your company gets a login and what each person can see. You are responsible for what happens under your company's logins, and for keeping your list of people current when someone leaves.
Your information is yours
Everything your company records in Tailgate belongs to your company. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide Tailgate to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your records, and you can ask us to delete them.
You confirm you have the right to put the information you enter into Tailgate, including your customers' contact details, and to have us send emails to them on your behalf.
Quotes, invoices and signatures
Quotes and invoices you send from Tailgate are your documents. You are responsible for their prices, taxes, terms and accuracy. Tailgate calculates from the figures you enter; please check a document before you send it.
When your customer accepts a quote online, Tailgate records their typed name, drawn signature, the time and the internet address it came from. Whether an electronic acceptance is enough for a particular contract is your decision.
Connected services
If you connect QuickBooks Online or another service, your use of that service is also under its own provider's terms. We send it only what you have asked Tailgate to send, and you can disconnect at any time. We are not responsible for another provider's service being unavailable or changing how it works.
Fair use
Use Tailgate for your own lawful business. Do not try to reach another company's information, interfere with the service, resell it, or use it to send email your customers did not expect from you.
Fees
Subscription fees are shown when you sign up and are charged through Stripe. If a payment fails or a subscription ends, your account becomes read only: you can still open, print and export everything you have recorded, but you cannot add to it until billing is sorted out. We will tell you before we change our prices.
Availability and our responsibility
We work to keep Tailgate running, secure and accurate, and we fix problems when we find them. We cannot promise it will never be interrupted or never contain a mistake. To the extent the law allows, Tailgate is provided as it is, and our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Tailgate at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where we reasonably can. When an account ends, you can export your records first, and we will delete them on request, except where the law requires a record to be kept.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date above, and tell your company's owner before a change that affects you takes effect. Continuing to use Tailgate after that means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Questions about them go to greg@oldmanaisolutions.com.
